From Blair’s Bay looking north, the rock wall forms the profile of a face with “perfect roman nose.”
Anthony’s Nose is a local landmark known for its resemblance to the profile of a face. The heights of the mountain are accessible off Route 22 in the Town of Putnam where visitors can find the trail head to the Anthony’s Nose Preserve. The trail is 0.9 miles long with a climb to a 1,265 summit. Overlooks offer spectacular views of Roger’s Rock to the north and sweeping view of Lake George to the south.
