Located on the Saranac River in historic downtown Plattsburgh, NY, The Champlain Wine Company is a wine tasting room for our vineyard, North Star Vineyard, in Mooers, NY. We offer wine tastings, wine by the glass and bottled wine sales of our wine and other New York State wine. We also have souvenir wine glasses and a gift shop. Season And Hours Open

What Is Distinctive And Authentic To The Character Of The Region
Located in a historic downtown building, our tasting room features and original tin ceiling and exposed brick wall warm with character. We offer a taste of the North Country with local wines. The tasting room is the sole retail outlet for our vineyard, North Star Vineyard, a 4,000 vine farm winery located in Mooers, New York.
Price Style For This Establishment
Wine bottle prices range from $9.99 – $18.99.$3.00 wine tastings include samples of five wines of your choice and $5 wine tastings include samples of seven wines and a wine charm. Wine accessories and gift baskets from the gift shop are moderately priced.

This is an excellent way to sample local wines while enjoying downtown Plattsburgh and would be a good venue for individuals, couples, and small groups, as well.
