Noblewood Park

Nobelwood Park is located along the Lake Champlain shore at the mouth of the Boquet River. Facilities include a public swimming area, bath house, primitive camp sites, and canoe and kayak access. The park itself covers close to 70 acres.

There is also a pavilion building that houses a children’s day camp and a designated preservation area with hiking trail and a bird watcher viewpoint along the Boquet. The pavilion holds an exceptional hill top view and is the perfect site for any family event.

Noblewood is a stop on the Paddlers Trail. Common wildlife species seen here include hermit thrush, black-throated green warblers, blue herons, kingfishers, and a number of gull species.

William Gilliland and his pioneer settlers spent their first night, June 8, 1765, in their new home of Willsboro–the British Settlement of Willsboro–on land that is now Noblewood Park. Season And Hours Open

yes This park is awesome! It is a wonderful hike; offering both flatter & steeper terrains. When you reach the end of the 1/4 mile walk to LAKE CHAMPLAIN — it will knock your socks off! There is a lovely pavilion there for community usage; as well as a beautiful black sand beach. The blue herons, and other water birds nest out on the sand bar at the mouth of the BOQUET RIVER where is meets LAKE CHAMPLAIN. This would be a great place for a great kayak or canoe paddle, as well as a nice day trip for the family to enjoy an inexpensive day on the Lake.
