The Fedder Canal
The Feeder Canal provides water from the Hudson River to the Champlain Canal, and from the early 1800s until 1928 provided a means of transportation by canal boats for people and goods. The canal and towpath today provide recreational opportunities for boaters, bikers and pedestrians as well as providing a glimpse into the past.
The seven-mile Feeder Canal linear park is an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to use the trail and learn of its historical significance.The Feeder Canal is the last remaining original canal in New York State. Services Offered
