What Is Distinctive And Authentic To The Character Of The Region
Oscar’s is a household name not only in the Adirondacks, but nationally as well. The Quintel family continues the traditions begun by Edith and Oscar Quintel. The original wood-fired brick smoke house was built in 1946, by hand, by founder Oscar. A 9,000 square foot building with many “green upgrades” was built and opened in February 2010. The unique quality and flavor of Oscar’s smoked meats have been enjoyed all over the world. There is something for everyone, smoked meats including sausage, bacon, turkey, ham, beef jerky, chicken, pork, lamb; cheese, smoked cheese and a selection of gift boxes.
