Founded originally in 1876, The Inn in Westport is a 4-season, 12-room Victorian Inn overlooking Lake Champlain within Adirondack Park. Every room has been richly decorated in an elegant style and boasts a private bath, AC, individual heat, in-room cable TV, and very comfortable beds. Several rooms have wonderful views of the lake and the Green Mountains in Vermont. Free wireless internet access is provided, along with beer and wine service.

The Inn is open all year. The Coffee Shop, Bookstore, and Cafe operate from Mid-May until Mid-October.

What Is Distinctive And Authentic To The Character Of The Region
The Inn in Westport was originally built in the 1850’s, and subsequently added to 1875. In 1877, the building was purchased by the then-famous Westport Inn, and served as an adjunct to the main Inn until the Westport Inn was demolished in 1966.

The architecture style of Inn on the Library Lawn is known as ‘Italianate’.
