Kirby Point

Kirby Point is named after John Kirby, a settler from after the Revolutionary War. This is also reported to be the site of a Revolutionary War landing and shown by R. N. Hill as the site of a cattle ferry to Watch Point, Vermont. Additional Notes And Comments
Some navigational charts spell this site as Kerby (rather than Kirby).
