The Palisades of Lake Champlain

The Palisades of Lake Champlain is a visually striking spot, and for over 125 years, postcards and commercial photographs have captured its beauty. In spring, several of the pocket wetlands perched on the rugged top spill streams of water over the edge. These streams drop in cascades into the lake far below. Ledges prompt boaters to stop for a swim and dive into the deep lake along the shore here. Recreational Opportunities
Rock and ice climbing are becoming increasingly more popular.
