Hudson Crossing Park Volunteers

Volunteers, Interns, and Community Service Projects are welcome.

Volunteers and friends of the Park have come together to build this very special place and organization. There are many ongoing projects that call for a wide range of ages and skill sets from physical, working outside around the park, to administrative for fund raising and marketing. Sensory Trail: volunteers and a professional design team will enhance the Park’s River Walk Sensory Trail with accessible stations that can be enjoyed by all.

Dix Bridge Rebirth:this historic bridge, once slated for demolition, will be restored to serve as the local Hudson River recreational crossing for the New York State Canalway Trail, linking pedestrian, bicycle, and snowmobile trails of Saratoga and Washington Counties.

Proposed Environmental Education Center and Great Hall: this complex will provide classrooms for hands-on experiments, interactive exhibits, and laboratories for innovative eco-research, as well as conference and reception space. The facility will be designed to showcase sustainable practices and will be a model of environmental stewardship.
