Lock C-11

Lock C-11 on the Champlain Canal is located in the town of Comstock, nine miles north of Lock C-9. This scenic lock lowers boats 12 feet, from an elevation of 124 feet to 112 feet above sea level. The Lockmaster can be reached by VHF Radio channel 13 or by phone at (518) 639-8964. Lock C12 (and Lake Champlain) is only 7 miles away. Services Offered
Picnic area. North of C-11 is the Whitehall Harbor offering free tie-ups, electric and showers. Walk into the Village of Whitehall for shopping, restaurants, and supplies. There is also a boat launch just south of the Harbor.

Sept. 8 – Nov. 15 – 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

TOLLS, PASSES & PERMITS

All motorized recreational vessels passing through any lock or lift bridge on the Canal System must purchase either a Seasonal Pass, a Ten-Day Pass or a Two-Day Pass.
