Point Au Roche State Park
This park, on the northwestern shore of Lake Champlain, in the town of Beekmantown, is open year-round and supports a variety of popular activities, such as swimming, hiking, biking, and fishing. The park also contains playing fields for volleyball, softball, and other games. A staffed Nature Center offers programs throughout the year. In winter, there’s snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and access for ice fishing. Summertime visitors make use of the sandy beach, picnic facilities, playground, and concession stand. The park offers 60 designated mooring sites in Deep Bay.
Point Au Roche is a mixture of open and forested areas, most of them natural and undeveloped. The park’s trails, including nature, hiking, and biking trails, wind through interesting habitats, from forest to marsh to shoreline. Season And Hours Open
