Small Boat Access at Mohawk Landing
Mohawk Landing, a beautiful six-acre riverfront park, opened in 2009 near Riverview Orchards on Riverview Road in Rexford (Clifton Park), NY. The park includes a gravel and wooden boardwalk trail that runs across the property to the top of the riverbank. The scenic overlook includes several picnic tables.
A ramp utilizing the naturally occurring rock allows boaters to launch kayaks and canoes at the site, which is along the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway. The park also includes an entrance sign, parking and a welcome sign with a map at the beginning of the trail.
This is the perfect spot for a picnic, casual walk along trails or to sit and enjoy the view of the Mohawk River.
