Kempton’s Cove

Kempton’s Cove is now the home of the large International Paper complex with a dredged entry way to their dock. International Paper built this mill in 1969-71. It has undergone a number of modernizations to reduce air and water pollution. It is one of the largest industries remaining on the lake.
