Cumberland Head Ferry Landing (Cumberland Head, NY to Grand Isle, VT Ferry Crossing)
This is one of three Lake Champlain ferry crossings between New York and Vermont operated by the Lake Champlain Transportation Company. This company began operating ferries on Lake Champlain in 1826 under the name “Champlain Transportation Company.” The Cumberland Head-to Grand Isle is the northernmost of the three routes. Boats take approximately 14 minutes to cross the two-mile channel.
The Cumberland Head ferry landing is accessed via Commodore Thomas Macdonough Highway (Route 314). Services Offered
